Who we are
About Stripe
Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. Millions of companies—from the world’s largest enterprises to the most ambitious startups—use Stripe to accept payments, grow their revenue, and accelerate new business opportunities. Our mission is to increase the GDP of the internet, and we have a staggering amount of work ahead. That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone’s reach while doing the most important work of your career.
About the team
Our EMEA Marketing team is a dynamic, fast-growing group that loves turning customers into enthusiastic Stripe advocates. We work hand-in-hand with our Sales team to build demand, help users get the most out of our products, and craft marketing plans that truly resonate with local audiences.
We have a lot still to build, and we’re tackling it as a diverse, international team that thrives on collaboration, bold innovation, and genuine curiosity. If you love to learn and want to make a meaningful impact, we’d love to have you join us.
What you’ll do
As a senior individual contributor, you’ll align regional and global marketing teams around shared priorities for EMEA Velocity, secure investment to deliver them, and balance global strategy with regional needs. You’ll directly lead high-priority initiatives across the region.
You’ll shape how Stripe grows its Velocity segment across EMEA, with a particular focus on winning and expanding relationships with priority commercial accounts. You’ll combine regional strategy with hands-on field marketing, building programs that generate demand and accelerate pipeline across different markets.
As the primary marketing partner on the EMEA Velocity leadership team, you’ll own the regional marketing strategy and investment plan. You’ll work closely with Sales leadership to identify the biggest opportunities across markets, decide where marketing can make the greatest difference, and turn those priorities into measurable business results.
You’ll lead account-based programs, executive engagement, and market-relevant campaigns for priority commercial accounts, bringing together regional and global teams to deliver them. Your programs will engage senior decision makers and operational leaders on reducing developer complexity, improving conversion, and increasing the return on their financial infrastructure. You’ll also partner with Demand Generation on scaled digital demand campaigns and programs, connecting those efforts with regional business priorities.
As a senior individual contributor, you’ll lead through influence across markets and teams, aligning Sales, Demand Generation, Product Marketing, and Global Campaigns around a shared plan. You’ll balance regional priorities with local customer needs, use results to guide investment, and build approaches that can scale across EMEA. You’ll help shape the marketing approach and directly lead the initiatives where regional context and ownership matter most.
Responsibilities
- Define and own the integrated marketing strategy for the Velocity segment across EMEA, turning business goals, market dynamics, customer needs, and competitors into clear priorities.
- Partner with regional Sales and Sales Development (SDR) leadership to set shared priorities, take part in pipeline reviews, and steer marketing investments.
- Build full-funnel campaigns around the problems businesses are trying to solve, such as taking payments online, growing recurring revenue, and getting paid faster.
- Lead high-touch field marketing, targeted account-based programs, and executive events, including dinners and roadshows, for priority commercial accounts. Partner with Demand Generation on scaled digital demand campaigns and programs, connecting those programs with regional Sales priorities.
- Co-market with the SaaS Platforms and Partner teams to reach merchants through the software they already use.
- Build Stripe’s brand with these businesses through customer stories, executive engagement, and industry initiatives, and lead the programs yourself where local context and senior ownership matter most.
- Own the regional marketing budget and use pipeline generation, pipeline progression, priority-account engagement, and ROI to guide investment. Partner with relevant teams to measure contributions to product adoption and customer advocacy, and use results to prioritise, scale, or change programs.
- Bring regional and global teams (including Demand Generation, Product Marketing, and Global Campaigns) together to deliver the plan, and adapt global strategy to local buyer expectations, regulation, and the competitive landscape.
Who you are
You’re an experienced B2B marketing leader who has owned an integrated marketing strategy across a country, region, or comparably broad portfolio. You can set clear direction, make clear commercial trade-offs, and partner credibly with senior Sales and go-to-market (GTM) leaders—all while staying close enough to execution to turn strategy into measurable business results.
We’re looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements for the role. If you meet them, we encourage you to apply. Preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.
Minimum requirements
- 10+ years of B2B marketing experience, including ownership of integrated marketing strategy and budget for a region or broad portfolio in tech.
- GTM business partnering: Proven track record partnering with senior Sales and GTM leaders to turn commercial targets into marketing plans and investment decisions.
- Scaled and high-touch marketing: Experience running both scaled digital demand and high-touch account-based marketing for larger prospects.
- Commercial accountability: Success generating pipeline, accelerating deal velocity, and managing multi-program budgets tied to clear ROI.
- Cross-functional leadership: Demonstrated ability to align regional and global teams (Demand Generation, Product Marketing, and Communications) without direct authority.
- Strategy and hands-on delivery: Comfort moving between multi-quarter planning and delivering key initiatives yourself.
- Executive communication: Strong written and verbal skills, with the ability to explain technical products in business terms and present recommendations to leadership.
Preferred qualifications
- Domain knowledge: Experience in payments, fintech, embedded finance, ecommerce, or high-growth B2B SaaS.
- Ecosystem and platform GTM: Experience marketing to software platforms, SaaS businesses, marketplaces, or building joint co-marketing programs with technology and ecosystem partners.
- Positioning & localization: Proven ability to take category or business-model positioning and translate it into regional and local-market programs.
- Executive advocacy: A track record of building customer advocacy and influence strategies with senior commercial stakeholders (Founders, CEOs, and CFOs).
- Builder mindset: Comfort building marketing approaches where the playbook, tooling, or route to impact is still taking shape.
