Reporting directly to our CTO, you will lead our Enterprise & Freelance Management System (FMS) engineering organization across London, Paris, and Lyon. You will manage engineering managers and staff engineers to position Malt as the global system of record for enterprise freelance workforces. Your scope spans account deployment, B2B integrations, compliance by design, the Vault, public sector expansion, and agent-to-agent AI explorations. Working alongside Product and Design, you will turn strategic commercial ambition into a scalable platform, roadmap, and world-class engineering team

• 10+ years of software engineering leadership experience in Enterprise B2B SaaS, with a proven track record of managing leaders (Engineering Managers, Staff Engineers) and building organizations at scale.
• You have a product and commercial acumen in terms of customer and business outcomes. You can make and explain trade-offs between enterprise-specific demands and platform leverage.
• Track record in driving engineering execution and building high-trust, cohesive teams across distributed hubs. 
• English on a native level, with the confidence and technical stature to lead high-level discourse in front of enterprise decision-makers (CTOs, CIOs, CISOs, Procurement heads) and win complex RFPs across Enterprise and Public Sector accounts.
• Deep architectural judgement in multi-tenancy, API integration patterns, and compliance-driven product design.
• Strong leadership in driving AI transformation, managing exploratory bets (e.g., agentic workflows), and fostering cohesion across distributed European hubs.

• First call with Alex, our Talent Acquisition Manager, to better understand your background, aspirations and answer any questions you may have. (45 minutes)
• Interview with your future manager Claire, our CTO, to delve into your experience and the specifics of the role. (60 minutes)
• Cross-functional interviews with our CPO, Sébastien and one of our commercial leader. (2 hours)
• Final on site interviews with our CEO to discuss Malt's long-term vision, growth mindset, and cultural alignment.

- Onboarding: Before easing into your new role, you’ll spend your first week learning about our culture, products, and services with other new joiners at our office in Paris
