Over 180,000 businesses, from Fortune 100 leaders to the world’s most innovative AI companies, trust 1Password to help their teams securely adopt the SaaS and AI tools they need to do their best work.

If you're excited about the opportunity to contribute to the digital safety of millions, to work alongside a team of curious, driven individuals, and to solve hard problems in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, then we want to hear from you. Come join us and help shape a safer, simpler digital future.

Our Implementations and Onboarding team is responsible for understanding the relationships and desired outcomes established during the sales process, building a launch plan for success, and helping customers get the most out of 1Password's suite of products.

We are customer-obsessed, technically curious, and committed to building deep, trusted partnerships that help organizations succeed securely with 1Password.

As a Senior Implementation Consultant, you will lead the technical deployment and customer enablement of 1Password's product suite for our largest and most strategically important enterprise customers. You will own the hands-on configuration and rollout of Enterprise Password Manager, SaaS Manager, Device Trust and Unified Access while delivering tailored, high-impact training that drives deep adoption and long-term customer value. Partnering with a Project Manager, Technical Account Managers, and Solutions Architects, you will be the trusted authority in each engagement, bringing both advanced product expertise and sharp business acumen to complex, high-visibility deployments. You will approach your work as an AI builder by actively developing AI-powered workflows and automation to scale your impact, accelerate outcomes for customers, and raise the standard for what implementation excellence looks like at 1Password.

How we’re using AI today

Across GTM, we’re transforming the way we work with AI. We expect every seller, CSM, and team member to become a power user, using it daily to work smarter and move faster. AI is already embedded in how we operate – from real-time coaching that sharpens how we sell and interact with customers, to surfacing insights that help us anticipate needs – creating more time for meaningful customer engagement. If you’re excited to reshape how you think, make decisions, and drive growth with AI, you’ll feel right at home here.

This is a remote opportunity within the UK.

What we're looking for:

  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills in both English and French, with the ability to engage and develop relationships, sharing information effectively across all professional levels.

  • Excellent communication in Spanish is a plus

  • 6+ years of experience in a technical implementation, solutions engineering, customer onboarding, or related B2B SaaS function, with a demonstrated track record of leading enterprise software deployments for large, complex, or strategically critical organizations

  • Advanced technical expertise and hands-on experience deploying SaaS products in enterprise environments, including deep working knowledge of identity providers (IdPs), SSO, SCIM, Active Directory, MDM, device trust, and Zero Trust security frameworks

  • Expert-level understanding of the business cases for enterprise security, IT operations, and SaaS governance tools and able to fluently navigate both technical and strategic conversations with IT administrators, security teams, and C-suite stakeholders

  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage complex, high-visibility enterprise engagements with multiple competing priorities, maintaining quality, customer satisfaction, and delivery timelines

  • Proven ability to design and deliver advanced, engaging virtual training and enablement programs for enterprise customers, including technically sophisticated administrators and executive audiences

  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional leadership and serve as a trusted advisor to senior customer stakeholders

  • Strong judgment in identifying and resolving technical issues, with the ability to lead de-escalation efforts and drive outcomes autonomously

  • A builder's mindset toward AI. You actively develop with AI tools and automation, creating workflows, solutions, and accelerators that meaningfully improve how you and your team work; you are not a casual user but a practitioner who builds

  • Experience mentoring and coaching peers and junior team members, sharing expertise and elevating the capability of those around you

  • Familiarity with SCIM, AD/LDAP, CLI, SSO, BYOD, MDM, SaaS discovery, and device posture concepts

  • Bonus: Familiarity with 1Password or experience deploying identity and access management, password management, device trust, or SaaS management solutions at enterprise scale

What you can expect:

  • Drive the successful technical implementation and deployment of Enterprise Password Manager, SaaS Manager, and Device Trust (and Unified Access as it becomes available) for large, complex, and strategically important enterprise customers, owning hands-on configuration, integration, and validation through to a successful launch

  • Partner with the assigned Project Manager to align on timelines, dependencies, and internal coordination. You own the technical delivery and customer enablement while the Project Manager owns project coordination; together you ensure a seamless, high-quality customer experience

  • Collaborate closely with Technical Account Managers and Solutions Architects to assess customer environments, align on architectural decisions, and design implementation approaches that meet both technical requirements and business objectives

  • Build deep knowledge of each customer's environment, security posture, business goals, and user workflows in order to design deployment strategies and training plans that accelerate adoption and deliver measurable outcomes

  • Deliver advanced, customized virtual training sessions for enterprise administrators and end users across all deployed 1Password products while adapting instructional approaches to technically diverse audiences and highly complex organizational environments

  • Serve as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert for customers and internal stakeholders alike, translating complex technical concepts into clear business value for audiences ranging from IT and security teams to executive leadership

  • Manage escalated situations on complex or sensitive implementations, working cross-functionally with internal teams and engaging directly with customers to de-escalate and drive the best possible outcome

  • Exercise independent judgment in identifying and mitigating implementation risks, developing and executing resolution strategies proactively and keeping all relevant stakeholders informed

  • Stay ahead of product updates, new features, and evolving integrations across our products and applying that knowledge immediately in customer engagements and sharing it with the broader team

  • Develop and maintain advanced implementation playbooks, training curricula, and enablement resources (including configuration guides, deployment frameworks, and possibly video content) that elevate the capabilities of the entire Implementations and Onboarding team

  • Mentor Implementation Managers and other junior team members, sharing deep product expertise, enterprise deployment strategies, and insights gained from working with our most demanding customers

  • Influence team operations by leveraging lessons from complex engagements to recommend and drive improvements to team practices, processes, documentation, and the overall customer journey

  • Build with AI not just use it. Actively develop AI-powered workflows, automation, and tools that improve your own delivery, help customers achieve faster time-to-value, and create scalable solutions the broader team can adopt

  • Contribute significantly to the growth strategy of the Implementations function, identifying opportunities to evolve how we deploy and enable customers at scale

  • Occasionally represent 1Password at customer meetings, industry events, or team offsites (some travel may be required).

Our culture
At 1Password, we prioritize collaboration, clear and transparent communication, receptiveness to feedback, and alignment with our core values: keep it simple, lead with honesty, and put people first.

You’ll be part of a team that challenges the status quo, and is excited to experiment and iterate in search of the best solution. That said, 1Password is not for everyone. Our work is demanding, we strive for excellence, and the pace is fast. We need people who are keen to take on challenging problems, who seek feedback to grow, and who are driven to make an impact. If you're looking for a place where you can settle into a comfortable routine, this might not be the right fit for you. We’re looking for individuals who are proven experts in their fields, as well as those who are highly adaptable, can thrive in ambiguity and through change, are curious, and above all deliver results.

How we work with AI
We are committed to leveraging cutting-edge technology—including AI—to achieve our mission. We also understand that thinking critically about AI in its current forms will help us create better solutions for our customers and ourselves with its future forms, which will help us continue to close the gap between security and privacy and achieve our mission. We want team members at all levels to take the approach of actively learning AI best practices, identifying opportunities to apply AI in meaningful ways, and driving innovative solutions in their daily work. Embracing the future of AI isn't just encouraged—it's an essential part of how we will be successful at 1Password.

This approach extends to our hiring process—candidates are welcome to use AI tools responsibly and thoughtfully during the application process. To us, this means we do ask that you join live interviews without using AI tools so we can get to know how you communicate, solve problems, and collaborate with others.

Our approach to work
We recognize the power of both in person collaboration and remote work. Some roles are designated as remote-first, with an expectation that individuals work from their homes majority of the time, while others are designated as in-office roles, with an expectation of being on-site on a regular basis. We recognize that certain roles benefit from regular, in-person connection to support collaboration, team cohesion, and customer engagement.

For all roles, occasional travel may be required. This includes things like: department-wide offsites, quarterly department meetings and periodic customer events. These events are typically held in varying locations across Canada, USA and/or EMEA. In leadership roles, you can expect to travel once per month on average.

Note: All go-to market roles will have an in-person onboarding in Toronto.
