Regulatory Reporting Officer

Qonto · Paris, France

Full-time Remote Lead via Qonto (ashby)

Description

Join us as a Regulatory Reporting Officer and help build accurate, scalable reporting processes as Qonto becomes a bank and expands across eight European markets. Working at the intersection of regulation, data and operations, you’ll own key regulatory submissions and collaborate with Data, Accounting, Tax and Risk & Compliance to turn complex requirements into reliable, repeatable reporting. You’ll join our Regulatory Reporting team and report to Vincent Arnould, Regulatory Reporting Lead.

➡️ What you'll do

  • Regulatory submissions: Prepare, review and submit accurate regulatory reports to Qonto's banking supervisors on time.

  • Data gathering and quality: Work with Data, Accounting, Tax and Risk & Compliance to collect, reconcile and validate the information required for each submission.

  • Scalable processes: Improve reporting workflows, controls and documentation so they scale as Qonto becomes a bank and expands into new markets.

  • Regulatory monitoring: Keep reporting practices current as regulations evolve and translate new requirements into concrete deliverables.

  • Cross-functional projects: Contribute to CI readiness, data-quality improvements and projects that strengthen regulatory understanding across Qonto.

➡️ What we're looking for

  • Experience: Solid experience in regulatory or financial reporting, banking projects, or another regulated and data-intensive environment. A background in banking, fintech or financial-services consulting is a plus, but not essential.

  • Excel and data skills: Strong Excel skills and the ability to organise complex data accurately; database-management experience is a plus.

  • Analytical rigour: Strong analytical and project-management skills, with close attention to quality and deadlines.

  • Autonomy and adaptability: You can independently manage complex work, learn quickly and adapt as requirements evolve.

  • Stakeholder management: Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate inputs across several teams.

  • Languages: Fluent English. French, or another European language would be a big plus.

➡️ What we can offer you

  • International scope: A role covering our eight markets and supporting Qonto's ambition to become a true European champion.

  • Strategic impact: Direct involvement in Qonto's CI transition and the reporting processes that will support our growth as a bank.

  • Meaningful ownership: Responsibility for a share of a high-volume reporting calendar within an autonomous team that values quality and clear ownership.

  • Cross-functional exposure: Close collaboration with Risk & Compliance, Data, Accounting and Tax in an agile environment that adapts quickly to regulatory change.

➡️ Your future manager

Your manager will be Vincent Arnould, our Regulatory Reporting Lead.

  • His path? Vincent built his expertise at leading financial institutions. At Rothschild, he managed regulatory reporting before moving to GE Capital to focus on treasury and asset-liability management. Before joining Qonto in 2022, he spent five years at Wolters Kluwer as a Senior Consultant, guiding financial institutions through complex regulatory-compliance requirements. He holds Master’s degrees from Sciences Po Lille and IAE Paris-Est and has taught banking regulation.

  • What does he bring to the team? Deep knowledge of banking regulation and asset-liability management across multiple frameworks. His experience as both a consultant and an in-house expert gives him a practical perspective on effective regulatory solutions and on making complex topics easier to navigate. Vincent leads an autonomous team with clear expectations and a strong focus on quality and ownership.
